Volunteer at Lincoln


Lincoln Elementary has many opportunities to volunteer your time and expertise!

Are you interested in getting more involved in our Lincoln community? Would you like to meet other Lincoln parents?  Please complete the Lincoln PTA Volunteer Interest Form and let us know what you are interested in.

Here are some upcoming volunteer opportunities. Roles can be modified to meet capacity and availability.

PTA Roles

Board Vice President

Join the PTA board in making decisions for events and initiatives that help strengthen our Lincoln community and shape our culture. 

Communication Coordinator

Manage the PTA’s communications including TWAL, social media, and flyers. 

Fundraising Committee 

Provide new ideas and help in execution to raise funds for future PTA work. 

School Year Support

Room Parent Support Volunteer (Other Classroom)

Assist a classroom other than their child's, aiding the room parent and teacher in organizing events, fostering an inclusive environment, and supporting classroom activities. 

Grade-Level Coordinators

Foster communication and collaboration among classes within a specific grade and organize grade-wide events. 

Host Families for International Families

Foster community and connection with International/Emerging Bilingual/International families at Lincoln. 

Staff Support Volunteer

Coordinate teacher conference meals and regularly stock the staff lounge.

Special Projects

Food Pantry Volunteer 

Help stock the Lincoln pantry, make purchases using PTA funds, manage school-wide food drive, and research other donation opportunities from the community. 

Bookery Volunteer 

Help students “shop” for free books at the mini bookstore pop up during school hours.

Books & Breakfast Tutor

Volunteer for one hour a week as a reading or homework buddy. Volunteers need especially before winter and spring breaks. 

Parent Run Clubs or Workshops

Do you have a skill or interest you would like to share with Lincoln students? Consider running a free club or workshop for before or after school. 

ESCCA Serve Volunteer

Help students select clothes, shoes, coats and more.

Special Events

Holiday Fair Co-Lead (December 2023)

Help co-lead the holiday fair where students can “shop” for gifts at no cost. Co-leads will work with a Board member. 

Spring Social Co-Lead (May 2024)

Help co-lead Lincoln’s school-wide spring event. Co-leads will work with a Board member. 

Event Support 

Volunteer at one of our many upcoming events - Fall Dance-A-Thon, Cultural Heritage Night, Holiday Fair, Science Fair, Book Fair, Playground Pop Ups, etc.! Sign ups will be sent out closer to the events.
